.75 cents richer

Imagine you’ve been working at a company for a decade.

You show up and put in long, grueling 10-hour shifts.

You almost never call in sick.

And you hardly complain about “workplace drama”.

Then May comes along.

Everyone’s favorite month of the year.

Why?

Because that’s when everyone gets raises.

The boss asks you “if you have a minute.”

You reply “yes” because you’re through the roof excited.

Then they give it to you cold turkey.

“I’m giving you a .75 cent raise this year for all your hard work.”

How would you respond?

If this was me 2-3 years ago, I would’ve flipped.

But this didn’t phase me one bit.

Why?

Because I’m so hyper focused on building this writing business to escape the 9-5 grind.

I could’ve gone hulk mode.

But what good would that do?

Probably get me fired lol.

That .75 cent raise taught me a valuable lesson.

Nobody will ever pay me what I’m worth.

So, that’s why I’m crafting an offer.

Because I’m the one that sets the price.

It won’t be some .75 cent an hour mumbo jumbo either.

And don’t get me wrong.

I’m not being ungrateful.

I know how truly blessed I am to have a job.

That job puts a roof over my head.

How many people are sleeping out in the streets again?

Exactly.

If you don’t wanna sleep out in the streets and have a business from home and would like to work less but better, I’m looking for 3 people to help.

I want to help you find the needle moving tasks and improve your focus so that you can dial in on those and work less, but better.

If you’re interested and want to book a call, you can do that here.

Thanks for reading and have a blessed day.

It’s your brother Alex signing out,

Peace.
