The blank page takes souls

Would you like to get over your fear of staring at the blank page when you sit down to write?

Because today imma share with you one of my favorite writing apps since I learned about it.

It’s called “The Most Dangerous Writing App.”

I’ve talked about it before.

And no, I’m not sponsored.

I just genuinely like the app.

Why do I like it so much?

Because when I first started writing, I was awful.

I did more reading about writing rather than sitting down to write.

Not only that, but I kept putting it off.

You know, that feeling of knowing you need to be doing “the thing” yet you do everything else but “the thing” itself.

Honestly, I was running.

Running from what?

The blank page.

When you start out, nothing is scarier than the blank page.

If you’re not prepared, the blank page stares directly into your soul.

And that’s exactly what happened.

I always came unprepared.

But one day I joined a zoom call with a lot of other writers.

The host of the zoom call was Dakota Robertson.

He’s been writing online for 3 years.

In one of these calls, he subtly mentioned: “The Most Dangerous Writing App.”

A few days later, I gave this app a shot, and I loved it.

Why?

Because it made the writing process feel like a game.

When you write using this app, you don’t wanna stop.

Mostly because if you do, all your writing gets deleted.

Don’t just take my word for it either.

So, if you’re still overthinking the writing process, click this link to use the app.

Until next time, my brothers and sisters.

This is Alex signing out.

Peace.
