Content scheduling changed my life
Did you know you could schedule content in advance?
I had zero clue that content scheduling was a thing.
If you don’t know what content schedulers are, lemme explain real quick.
Content schedulers allow you to plan a ‘post’ or an ‘upload’ weeks, months and even years out.
I only know this because I’ve been using a content scheduler to schedule my tweets recently.
Before I started scheduling my posts, I was tweeting off the top of my head.
I did that for about 2-4 months before I ran into a problem.
I would open Twitter/X and my mind would go blank.
I don’t know why.
I kinda just went ghost.
This became a problem for me because I wasn’t posting anything.
I would open the app many times trying to post something and I couldn’t come up with a single valuable tweet.
But then, I was laying in bed one night and a thought occurred to me.
“I have a content scheduler. I'll give this scheduling content thing a shot”.
An hour evaporated right before my eyes and before I knew it, I had scheduled an entire week’s worth of content in 1 hour.
I wasn’t stressing myself out to force a tweet on Twitter/X anymore.
I could actually engage with my followers and the people I follow.
Scheduling content in advance gives you much needed 'breathing room'.
So, if you’re wanting to make content, but you're stressing yourself out like I was, give content scheduling a go.
My routine for scheduling content looks something like this:
Choose my outlet, whether it’s writing, audio, or video.
Choose 1 or 2 days that I can dedicate at least 1-2 hours.
Use those 1-2 hours to create and schedule as much content for the rest of the week.
I’m telling you, if you can schedule things a week or even a day out in advance, it’s worth the investment.
You’ll be able to spend that time elsewhere.
If your platform of choice has a content scheduler, use it.
It might even save you stress and worry about future posts.
I know it’s made the content creation process a lot easier for me.
I hope this helps you in your content creating process.
Till next time my peeps,
Alex out.
