Quality over quantity.

I’ve heard that bajillions of times.

It’s what I strive for with any writing I do.

Emails, tweets, long forms, you get the idea.

Those are things I wanna put all my might into.

Because if it’s worth doing, then it’s worth doing right.

I remember a time where I was posting YouTube videos for a while.

I used to think, “this has to be good, or it’s not even worth uploading.”

The problem with that kind of thinking is that I started becoming a “perfectionist”.

And because of that, I wasn’t posting any videos.

How was I going to have a great YouTube channel if all I did was scrap every video idea I made?

It’s impossible.

But then I heard this Alex Hormozi quote on Twitter that changed my entire perspective on the whole “quality vs quantity” debate.

He said “Quality beats quantity. But quality quantity beats quality. But in order to get quality, you need quantity. That’s the irony.

I know, quite the tongue twister.

But after hearing this, suddenly it became so clear to me.

I needed to post.

It didn’t matter if it was absolute garbage.

Because eventually, after you dive through so much garbage, you’ll find some treasure.

But you won’t find that treasure unless you’re willing to go through piles and piles of trash.

That’s the part we miss.
