Plan your day the night before

You ever feel like a zombie?

No, I’m not talking about a lack of sleep because you pulled an all nighter for a last-minute school paper.

If I had to sum up my middle and high school career in a nutshell, that would be it lol.

But no, I’m talking about waking up and not having anything scheduled for the entire day.

And because of this, you end up walking back and forth before you finally resort to doing what you always do.

Playing Call of Duty for 2-3 hours, followed by binge watching Naruto to play ‘catchup’.

No?

Just me?

If I wasn't working my 9-5, that’s kinda how most of my days off would go.

I would waste an entire day and not even feel guilty about it.

Something I would scold myself for now.

I was one of the laziest and unproductive individuals out there.

But then I found out about a productivity hack that changed everything.

It’s the same one I use now and I've been using it almost every day.

What is this productivity hack?

I plan my day the night before.

Yeah, it’s that simple.

I do this right before I’m about to go to bed.

Why do I do this?

Because it gives me a clear roadmap of 1-3 things that I need to focus on moving my endeavors forward.

Things like:

• Batch creating content.

• Batch editing the content created.

• Reading/studying my bible to strengthen my relationships.

With these written out the night before, all I do is wake up and get straight to work.

No messin' around.

Planning your day the night before beats waking up and making a “to-do” list any day of the week.

You could:

Wake up half asleep.

Hit snooze.

Start your day off later than planned.

Sit down and write out your top priorities for the next 5-10 minutes.

And then mentally prepare yourself.

Or

You can wake up and get straight to it.

All because you planned your day the night before.

Regardless of what you do, planning your day the night before is an enormous advantage.

I highly recommend doing this right before you go to sleep tonight.

It’ll change the game for you.

It has for me.

Anyway, I hope you find this helpful and if you do, lemme know how it went.

Till next time my peeps,

Alex out.
