Posture check!!!
How often do you think about your posture?
If I had to guess, probably not that much.
It’s something we don’t bat an eye at.
But the longer we go without fixing it, the worse it’s going to get.
It’s like a ninja.
Silent but deadly.
Back In my gamer days, I played video games for 4 sometimes 10 hours a day.
Lemme tell ya, my posture was atrocious.
I would play at a 45º angle.
Now imagine doing that for 4-10 hours.
I looked like the hunchback of Notre Dame.
But since then I’ve become super aware of my posture.
Even as I write this email, I’m fixing my posture.
Who looks more confident?
The person walking with their head down and a slight shoulder hunch?
Or
The person walking with their head up and shoulders dropped low?
Yeah, posture can even affect your confidence level.
Crazy right?
All I’m saying is I don’t want you to end up like the hunchback of Notre Dame.
But don’t worry.
Fixing your posture is super easy.
It’s as simple as…
1. Pulling that chest up.
2. Dropping those shoulders.
3. No slouching.
Cement that into your head.
You can put it on a sticky note and use it as a reminder.
If you’re conscious about this wherever you go, your posture will change.
And pretty soon you’ll do it without even thinking about it.
It’ll become part of your life.
